Challenge

Customer was looking for an improved material for its bottle cap lining, the current version was resulting in too high of rate of product complaints due to an off-taste. The current supplier was unable to offer a better solution.

Solution

Starting with the _______-based material, Aspen Research went to work to understand the desired and current performance. Then, developed material formulation concepts that could be analyzed for performance on a lab scale, before large investments in production runs were made. Finding the right material for the job, Aspen scaled up the unique, continuous process and built a quality protocol so the new manufacturer could ensure the product delivered consistently on all performance criteria.
