Our HistoryIn the Beginning...Aspen was established in 1986 to provide interdisciplinary scientific consulting. Aspen's founders once worked for a multi-national company and were often faced with the challenges of a rapidly changing marketplace, tough competition and increasingly global economy. Finding it difficult to stay on top of the wave of change, they sought help from the outside. Most service companies could only solve certain pieces of the puzzle. Some lacked the capability or flexibility to move quickly enough to provide an advantage. Others work was piece-meal and rarely took into account what would happen during the entire product lifecycle. As a result, they decided to form a company, organized to deliver value to its customers changing, diverse needs. In 1997, Aspen Research was purchased by Andersen Corporation, a leader in the fenestration industry. Andersen saw a unique advantage in owning a company that could help them to continue delivering their brand promise of high quality and enable them with new technology to create the products of the future. Aspen continues to serve companies in a range of industries, ensuring that the great service Aspen's name was built is our focus.
